Wellbeing session

The wellbeing sessions are helping me to focus some time on myself. I’ve noticed I’m more mindful with my time once the baby is in bed. I am doing things for me and not just scrolling on my phone.

Peer Support session

I came to the group before my baby was born and Vik listened to me and my worries regarding the birth and the fact that I was absolutely petrified. She messaged regularly after that, checking in and offering support once my baby arrived. I am really looking forward to attending the weekly sessions with my little one.

Wellness day

The wellness day was a much needed escape from reality, it was really nice to have open conversations with new people in a non-judgemental  environment. Yoga and pilates really did wonders not only physically but mentally; I learnt new stretches to incorporate into my routine to help counteract the ergonomic effects of sitting at a desk 9-5. I will definitely be attending future events and look forward to hopefully seeing everyone again.

Peer Support group

Vik runs a lovely, welcoming weekly group which is a safe place for mums to meet up with their little ones. She is so passionate about what she does and is extremely knowledgeable. What sets her apart from many is her honesty and real-ness. I have helped her out in my professional capacity as a massage therapist (yes, she arranges free mini massages for the mums attending group to support their self care). I really wish there had been somewhere and someone offering both group sessions and private home sessions when my kids were in their preschool years.

Walk and talk

I started the walk and talk when Quinn was just 8 weeks old ! It was perfect for me, it got me out the house in the morning and allowed me to chat to people about becoming a new mum!  Quinn is now nearly 6 months old and I can happily say i’ve made some wonderful friends and Tuesday mornings are one of my favourite days of the week.

Peer Support group

I can’t recommend Coffee, Chill and Spill enough! It’s such a friendly group filled with lovely ladies who understand the pressures of being a new mum. The group has been a saviour for me since having my second daughter and I felt very welcomed since walking through the door for the first time. Vik is very knowledgeable and approachable and has been a wonderful support to me and my family. Thanks for creating a lovely and supportive group.

Peer Support group

I have been coming to the group since my twins were 6 months old. This group is really quite different from the rest, it’s so welcoming and friendly and as soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile and the offer of a cuppa. I’ve been to group when I’ve been having bad days and literally burst into tears as I walked in and Vik is so supportive as she knows exactly what these days are like, like most mums do. I would urge anyone to give it a go, going to a new group, especially if you are feeling overwhelmed can be so daunting, but there will always be a friendly face to greet you and make you feel welcome.

Wellness day

So glad I bought a ticket to attend the Coffee, Chill and Spill Wellness day- Mindful Moments. It was just what I needed after not really finding the time to relax with a new baby. I got to do everything under one roof, yoga, reiki, pressure massage and more. Great refreshments and lunch was included too. It was worth every penny and I can’t wait to do it again.

Peer support group

Thank you so much for a lovely morning. it’s such a lovely group and
such a wonderful space you have created. I was chatting with the other mums and we were all saying how we like the group because it’s just different to others and it’s nice it focuses on mums more. It really does feel like a safe, friendly and more importantly non-judgement space where you can actually relate to one another. I’m sure everyone felt as special and as spoilt as me yesterday. So a big thank you from me.

Walk and Talk

The Walk and talk sessions have given me  my ‘village’ of mums here is Stockport. Being  from a different country and missing my friends and family from home, this has really been  what I needed to find  my feet a little. Forever grateful for the amazing friends  it has brought me.

Wellness day

The wellness day gave me a chance to take some time out from my busy lifestyle to focus on my own needs, relax and unwind. The day was full of a variety of self care activities. I’ve been meaning to book in for a reiki session for a long time and i’m happy i finally got to try it. I felt refreshed and recharged after it all
